Oh, and in case you didnt know, "Fiona's Tale" is the codename being used the movie. (similar to how they used "Frostbite" for Captain America: The First Avengers!)

As can be seen in the above picture, there's already been a helicopter on the set. I wonder whether we'll now see an NYPD chopper pusuing Spider-Man as well as the squad cars we've already seen? The Amazing Spider-Man is set to be released on July 3, 2012!

Spiderman 4 Released on IMAX, May 5th 2011

IMAX and Colum­bia pic­tures have con­firmed that Spider-man 4 will be simul­ta­ne­ously released in stan­dard and IMAX the­aters on May 5th, 2011. The film will be “dig­i­tally re-mastered” into the IMAX expe­ri­ence, it’s unlikely scenes will be natively shot in the IMAX format.
“The last two ‘Spider-Man’ releases have been avail­able in IMAX the­aters, and we’re very much look­ing for­ward to our return to a wider IMAX the­atre net­work with this excit­ing new chap­ter in the con­tin­u­ing adven­tures of Spider-Man,” said Rory Bruer, Pres­i­dent, World­wide Dis­tri­b­u­tion for Sony Pic­tures Releas­ing. “The addi­tion of so many new IMAX loca­tions will give even more fans of Spider-Man an oppor­tu­nity to expe­ri­ence the action and adven­ture in a unique way.”

“‘Spider-Man’ con­tin­ues to be one of the world’s most pop­u­lar motion pic­ture fran­chises, and we are very excited to include the lat­est chap­ter as part of our 2011 slate,” said IMAX CEO Richard L. Gel­fond. “Our net­work has grown sig­nif­i­cantly and we con­tinue to roll-out new the­atres vir­tu­ally every week, giv­ing more movie­go­ers the oppor­tu­nity to expe­ri­ence the movie in IMAX.”

Yup! Our very own Tobey Maguire has finally decided to quit one of the biggest movie tiles! Not only Tobey, but even the rest of the cast and crew have now been changed! Sam Raimi reportedly ended his participation due to doubt that he could not meet the planned May 2011 release date.

Now, it is being said that the entire story is going to start all over again, which means right from the high school days of Peter Parker! It might also have Venom as an anti hero and not as a villain like in Spider Man 3. According to sources, the new series will be directed by Marc Web. It is also being said that Tobey, after leaving the 4th installment of the multi-million dollar franchise, came into the rescue for the project by recommending Zack Efron to be the next Peter Parker/Spider Man!

The 22 year old High School Musical star didn’t confirm the news, saying that he hasn’t been approached with any offer to play Spider man as on now.

If you ask me, Zack Efron could be a fine choice for the role, but it would be very difficult to replace Tobey with Zack for the super role! What are your thoughts regarding this?

Spiderman 4 There is a lot of buzz going around about the next Spidey movie! Earlier, many cast were going to be replaced from the major role like Tobbey Meguire to Kirstun Dunst. But now, it is said that all the characters are going to be the same from the earlier movies.

Columbia picture have hired David Lindsay-Abaire, an award winning writer to pen the story of the next installment to the series. He won the best writer award for his play Rabbit Hole. Well, this shows that, the people engaged in the making of Spiderman 4 are working pretty hard to give us fans a big one!

Sony is planning to do the shooting of the 4th and the 5th Spiderman movies back to back. If it is so, then it is going to be an extremely difficult job in there hands and I hope, while doing so i.e. making two sequels back to back, they don’t screw the whole thing up.


Well, there is a long time to wait for the movie, since the movie is going to come out somewhere in 2011. Man!! Waiting so long is going to be very hard.

Now about the villains. The most talked about villains are as follws…

1) Lizard (Dr. Curt)

2) Carnage (New form of Venom)

3) Rhino

4) Mysterio

5) Cat Woman

I would like to see Spiderman beating the hell out of Carnage and Lizard. Who would you like to see as the villain in the next one ?

The filming is subject to change but basically the story is this: The producer Grant Curtis, actor Dylan Baker and even the director have all seem to come to the conclusion that fans were distracted by the sheer number of villains seen in the previous Spider-Man and Sam Raimi has said that he wants to go back to the basics. After the many interviews and comments it is unanimous that the Lizard will probably be the one and only "Villain". The Lizard who has, Dr. Curt Connors as an opponent has been somewhat introduced in previous films; as a matter of fact it leads to speculate that is could be seen that the animal research he is seen involved with in Spider-Man 3 will probably be the cause of his transformation or as some call it mutation into the monster he will become...

So it seems that is will be the first of the Spider-Man Series Movies that will not include one of the classical Arch-enemies. The Green Goblin, Venom and Doctor Octopus will all have to go and recharge their batteries while Peter Parker fights another kind of evil probably one who's powers reside in the mind and not superpowers.

SPIDERMAN 3 GAMES

Spiderman 3 is a cool action game that uses the touch screen in some fantastic ways that improve the game play a lot. Several of the Nintendo DS games employ the system's touch screen control in the same fashion, but Spiderman 3 is one of those games that do it so easily and in ways that improve the experience of playing the game. You have to use the D-pad to move Spiderman around and to swing through the air, all of his attacks and web ability's are controlled by the touch screen. You really feel like your Spiderman as you unleash a couple of kicks to an enemies face, kick him in the air and catch him with your web cool.

SPIDERMAN 3 GAMES

There are more than twenty story missions as well as an additional forty challenge and race missions to tackle. Story missions are in ascending order, but you can complete the rest in any order you like, while the sandman and venom plotlines from the movie are the main part of the story, the game also expands on the movie's story by involving more of Spiderman's characters, such as lizard from the comic books and detective Dewofle. Mission goals vary, but they usually involve beating up a set number of enemy's in a time limit, or saving hostages. You'll also spend a fair amount of time climbing buildings and swinging through the air. The environments really are nice to luck at. Cars and people running about in the distance
When you start the game spider-man already has dozens of moves for you to control. Beating up thug's will earn you money to buy new punches, kicks, and web abilities. Attacking enemies also makes Spiderman mad and when the rage meter builds up you can unleash the black spider-man costume which makes you faster and stronger for a while.
Another good feature is the voice over that's Tobey Maguire, the actor that plays Spiderman in the movies does it. He reads most of the dialogue during the newspaper like scenes, now and then Spiderman comes out with some great one liner sentences like from the film.
Most people will finish the story in around five or six hours, completing all the challenges will take much longer, the multiplayer mode lets 4 of you compete in a thug beating up challenge, but you will all need a copy of the game because it doesn't support download play.
As action games go, spider-man 3 doesn't really bring anything new to the platform. However its controls go along way to make this feel fresh, and innovative.By Philip Strong

SPIDERMAN 2 : Spiderman vs Dr. Octopus

Spider-Man 2 is just another comic book film where another comic book villain whose been transformed by his scientific invention thats gone awry. Why do we care more about this film than the other films? Well because it really is about a hero’s tale and a character that, at this point, is likable. Which can’t be said about Spider-Man 3 when Peter Parker becomes a whining crybaby and jerk. Once more duality plays its hand as Peter hears the call to be the hero he knows he is but yearns for a normal life to share with Mary Jane Watson and attend college.

Needless to say Peter makes a few mistakes and has to fight back from them but the film is very rewarding with an ending that qualifies this film as both a comic book movie and a date flick. Even though Spider-Man is set in New York designers still modestly dressed up the film in appropriate parts to keep that comic book visual homage…that and all the cool web swinging that Spidey does.

This trailer I made is based on the Marvel comics, as a continuation of the Spiderman series. Some of the effects took a while to create. Again, this is not to be taken serious, just pure fan creation I did... Didn't turn out perfect, but overall I'm pretty happy with it. Some good news and some really bad news. The good news is that a Spider Man 4 movie is on the works for around May of 2011, the bad and crappy news is that the Spider Man Franchise doesn’t get rid of its biggest foes: Movie Director Sam Raimi and main acting role, Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker/Spider Man. One of my all time favorite super hero characters starts to walk again the thin line of appreciation, since the last lousy movie direction and wussy performance from Spider Man 3. It’s like if movie director and main actor have worked out a scheme called: How to ruin out a perfectly favorite Marvel character and keep on trying? Raimi’s filmmaking horror background is really terrorizing out “Spidey” fans. While Maguire’s unmanly acting is making Spider Man look out like a pussy hero!




Spider Man 4 Enemies


So what’s next for “Spidey“? Peter Parker was a regular college dude; sometimes naive, sometimes out of cash, always out of time, but he was never such a jerk. So far for a start, they should stop on taking the character to a point that will not connect with fans. It’s not like if the “Arachnid” should take a Dark Knight plot road, but should keep it faithful to its essence and characters. There are countless times in which “Spidey” faced many villains at the same moment and never did a cowardly cry for help as he did in Spider Man 3!!! If there is something magical about “Spidey” is that he knows how to deal, mock, fight, piss off and evade all types of villains and get away with it, like a walk in the park. Well, gotta admit it, he had it hard a couple of times, but definitely, not like the last flick disappointment. Keep original “Webhead” traits, keep villains coming and keep them true to what they are.

Hype is starting to buzz out on which villains should appear in the “Webheads” fourth delivery. Besides Raimi and Maguire, finally we’ll get to see Lizard, probably a nice looking Black Cat will come into the view, Carnage, and rumored but not yet confirmed probably, probably Rhino. Marvel and Sony Pictures could revamp out fans by putting Raimi and Maguire out of “Spideys” scene for good.
